The Effy Awarded Stateroom is a standard interior stateroom and includes the cruise fare for two guests.
As a recipient of an Effy Awarded Stateroom, you are responsible for the qualifying purchase, a processing fee ($500 per person), and any flights, transportation, accommodations, or onboard charges.
Yes – only one Effy Awarded Stateroom can be awarded per onboard stateroom, per voyage.
If you are sailing together in the same stateroom during the voyage in which you each make a qualifying purchase, you will receive one Effy Awarded Stateroom. The limit is one Effy Awarded Stateroom per stateroom, per voyage.
The qualifying guest is “Non-Transferable”; however, we invite you to bring whomever you wish as the second guest in your Effy Awarded Stateroom.
The Effy Awarded Stateroom is only valid for the voyage sailing on December 4th, 2026, onboard Norwegian Joy.
The Effy Awarded Stateroom includes two cruise fares.

There is a $500.00 per person processing fee that is due when you claim your Effy Awarded Stateroom. Once this fee has been collected, your registration is complete, and your voyage is secured.

To avoid any additional fees and receive a full refund of any processing fees, Escape with Effy Charters requires a 90-day notice of cancellation. No refunds are available for cancellations made less than 90 days prior to the voyage sail date. If the client fails to notify Escape with Effy Charters and does not attend the voyage, the client will be charged the full voyage fare.
This offer is subject to availability. The promotion will discontinue once all staterooms are occupied.
The Escape with Effy charter cruise is open to primary guests 21+ and secondary guests over the age of 18.
To avoid additional fees and receive a full refund of any processing fees paid, Escape with Effy Charters requires written notice of cancellation at least ninety (90) days before the scheduled voyage sail date.
Cancellations made less than ninety (90) days prior to the sail date are non-refundable, including any processing fees paid.
If a guest fails to notify Escape with Effy Charters of their cancellation and does not attend the voyage, the guest will be charged the full voyage fare.

Escape with Effy does not have a preferred or recommended hotel. Guests are strongly encouraged to arrive at least one day prior to departure to allow for potential travel delays.
If arriving on the day of embarkation, guests should plan to arrive at the port at least 1.5 hours prior to the scheduled sail time.
No. Escape with Effy does not provide local transportation. Ride-share services and taxis are readily available.
Yes. On-site parking is available at the Port of Miami. Availability and rates are subject to change; please refer to the Port of Miami website for the most up-to-date information.
Yes. Guests may complete check-in online or via the Norwegian Mobile App. Online check-in opens approximately 5 days prior to sailing.
Embarkation timing will be confirmed closer to sailing and communicated to guests once finalized.
Large luggage and suitcases should be left with the port staff upon arrival and will be delivered to your stateroom by your room steward. If any items are not delivered by the evening, please contact Guest Services onboard.
Disembarkation typically begins around 7:00 AM. Guests are generally asked to vacate their staterooms by 8:00–8:30 AM, with final disembarkation completed by approximately 9:00–9:30 AM.

Anyone over the age of 18 can join the charter; anyone 18 – 20 years old must be accompanied by someone 21 years or older in their stateroom.

Escape with Effy follows Norwegian Cruise Line’s policies regarding dress code. Please refer to their website for full details. For onboard theme nights, Escape with Effy will share more detailed information closer to the cruise so you can prepare accordingly.

Theme nights typically start at 4:00 PM, with the exception of the Sail Away Party.
Dressing up is OPTIONAL. We want everyone to have a great time in what they feel most comfortable wearing, and participation in themed attire is entirely up to you. We will also have accessories available each night so you can participate even if you choose not to dress up.
Norwegian Cruise Lines has various Internet packages, and you can buy one directly from them once you have your cruise line booking number, which we will send to you about 4-6 weeks after your booking is confirmed. Yes, you can earn points for sailing on the Escape with Effy Charter Cruise. As this is a full-ship charter, earned perks cannot be redeemed through your cruise line membership. If you have questions regarding a specific perk or amenity, you are welcome to contact Norwegian Cruise Line directly. If you speak with the cruise line, please ensure they understand that you are inquiring about redeeming perks on a full-ship charter.

Cigar smoking is permitted in the designated cigar lounge. Cigarettes, pipes, electronic cigarettes, and vapor smoking devices are not permitted in the cigar lounge. Cigar and pipe smoking on board Norwegian Sky, Norwegian Sun, Norwegian Star, and Pride of America is permitted only in designated outdoor areas, as there is no cigar lounge onboard.
Norwegian Bliss, Norwegian Joy, and Norwegian Encore have a designated smoking room within the Casino. On all other ships, active Casino players may smoke cigarettes, electronic cigarettes, and vapor smoking devices in the Casino during gaming hours.
Cigar and pipe smoking is not permitted in the Casino.
Guests are not permitted to smoke cigarettes, cigars, pipes, electronic cigarettes, or vapor devices in their staterooms or on their balconies.
Smoking inside your stateroom or on your balcony will result in a $250 USD cleaning charge added to your onboard account. If cigarette burns on furniture, linens, towels, or carpeting are detected, guests will be advised and charged for the damage. Guests in the Garden Villas may smoke in their private garden and on their private sun decks.
