What type of category of suite is the Effy Awarded Suite?

The Effy Awarded Suite is a standard suite, that includes the cruise fare for 2 guests.

Do I have to pay for anything?

As a recipient of an Effy Awarded Suite, you are responsible for the qualifying purchase, a processing fee ($250 per person), as well as any flights, transportation, accommodations, and onboard charges.

Is there a limit to how many Effy Awarded Suites I can qualify for?

Yes – only 1 Effy Awarded Suite can be awarded per onboard suite, per voyage.

What if my spouse and I each make a qualifying purchase on this cruise?

If you are sailing together in the same suite during the voyage when you each make a qualifying purchase, you will only receive 1 Effy Awarded Suite; the limit is 1 Effy Awarded Suite, per suite, per voyage.

Can I transfer my Effy Awarded Suite to someone else?

The qualifying guest is non transferrable, however we invite you to bring whomever you wish as the second guest in your Effy Awarded Suite.

Can the Effy Awarded Suite be transferred to a future date?

The Effy Awarded Suite is only valid on the voyage sailing on November 11, 2025, onboard Seabourn Sojourn.

How many people can sail in the Effy Awarded Suite?

The Effy Awarded Suite includes 2 cruise fares.

Are there ADA-accessible suites available as an Effy Awarded Suite?

Any suite awarded is available on a “while supplies last” basis. The shoreside team can assist to see what accommodations are available.

Are there other places I can buy Effy Jewelry and take advantage of this offer?

The Effy Awarded Suites are only available through qualifying purchases made on a Seabourn Cruise Line.

How many Effy Awarded Suites are there?

This changes daily based on real time purchases and activated claims of Effy Awarded Suites.

How do I claim my Effy Awarded Suite before they run out?

Once your qualifying purchase is made, you will receive an e-mail that includes a portal to claim your Effy Awarded Suite.

What if I do not receive an e-mail?

Will I be charged anything when I complete my registration?

There is a $250 per person processing fee that is due when you claim your Effy Awarded Suite. Once this fee has been collected your registration is complete and your voyage is secured.

What if I have questions during the registration process?

Our Escape with Effy Reservations Team can assist you, call 1-866-211-5573.

What if I register for my Effy Awarded Suite but change my mind?

To avoid any additional fees and receive a full refund of any processing fees Escape with Effy Charters require a 90-day notice of cancellation. No refunds are available for cancellations made less than 90 days prior to the voyage sail date. If the client fails to notify Escape with Effy Charters and does not attend the voyage, the client will be charged the full voyage fare.

What happens if you run out of Effy Awarded Suites?

When we run out of Effy Awarded Suites, the promotion is discontinued, this offer is based on availability.

Is there a minimum age to sail on the Seabourn, Escape with Effy Charter?

The Escape with Effy charter cruise on Seabourn is open to primary guests 21+ and secondary guests 18+

Onboard travel details

Can I book shore excursions like I would on other cruises?

Yes! You will receive a booking number approximately four weeks after your suite is confirmed, which can be used to begin online bookings with the cruise line. For more information on the Seabourn Source App, click here for Apple or click here for Android.

Is internet service available, and how much does it cost?

Seabourn Cruise Line is all-inclusive, and internet services are included based on the suite type. Upgrade options are available through the Seabourn Source app.

Are children allowed to join the charter cruise?

Guests aged 18 and older are welcome. However, anyone between 18 and 20 years old must be accompanied by someone 21 or older in their suite.

What hotel is recommended for the night before the cruise?

Escape with Effy does not have a preferred or recommended hotel. Guests are encouraged to arrive a day before the cruise departs to avoid potential weather-related delays. If arriving on the day of embarkation, it is strongly recommended to be at the ship at least one hour before the scheduled departure time.

Does Escape with Effy offer any local transportation to the pier?

Seabourn Cruise Line provides pre- and post-cruise transfer options:

  • Luxury sedans for up to two guests, including two large pieces of luggage and two carry-ons.
  • Private van transfers for groups of four or more.

If additional space is required, van requests can be accommodated.

Booking Transfers

  • Transfers must be booked at least 60 days before departure by calling Seabourn Reservations.
  • Provide your Seabourn booking number, airport name/city, flight date, airline carrier, and flight number.

Important Details

  • Changes to flight or hotel information must be communicated to Seabourn at least 14 days before embarkation.
  • Missed transfers due to late updates or lack of advance booking are non-refundable.

Pre-Cruise Arrival: Allow time for airport formalities and transportation to the pier. Guests must check in at least one hour before departure.

Post-Cruise Departure: Ensure sufficient time for ship clearance, Customs processing, and transportation to the airport.

  • Transfers from the port city airport to the ship (or vice versa) are available for purchase.
  • Independent flight arrangements must be communicated to Seabourn at least 14 days prior to sailing.

Can we bring alcohol, soda, and water onboard? And, if so, how much of each?

Yes. Seabourn offers a variety of Epicurean Collection tours, which may take you to wineries, distilleries, or other venues where you can purchase alcoholic beverages. You are free to bring these back to the ship, and no corkage fees apply. Additionally, as Seabourn is an all-inclusive line, you’ll have a wide selection of beverages to choose from during the online check-in process, which can be prepared and waiting for you in your suite.

What is the dress code in the dining room, around the pool, and in the ship’s restaurants?

Escape with Effy follows Seabourn Cruise Line’s dress code policies. Please see below:

  • Attire During the Day:

    Casual, resort-style attire (including shorts and jeans) is welcome in all lounges and dining venues. Swimsuits, brief shorts, cover-ups, and exercise attire should be reserved for poolside, on deck, or in the spa and fitness center.

  • In the Evening (after 6 PM):

    Elegant Casual is the standard for all dining venues.

    • Men: Slacks with a collared dress shirt or sweater (jacket optional).
    • Ladies: Slacks, skirts, blouses, pant suits, or dresses.
    • Elegant jeans are welcome in all dining venues.
  • Formal Night (in The Restaurant):

    • Men: Tuxedo, suit, or slacks with a jacket required.
    • Ladies: Evening gowns or other formal attire.

In other dining venues, Elegant Casual applies. Jeans are welcome during the day but not appropriate in The Restaurant after 6 PM.

For onboard theme nights, Escape with Effy will provide detailed information closer to the cruise to help you prepare.

Can I change my traveling companion?

Yes, you may change your traveling companion. Please send any requests to reservations@escapewitheffy.com. Changes cannot be accommodated less than 30 days before sailing.

Is long-term parking available at the pier?

Yes, Miami offers on-site parking. Please refer to their website for the latest information.

Pricing

What does the price of the Escape with Effy Charter Cruise include?

The price includes all onboard events produced by Escape with Effy, as well as the standard amenities and services associated with a Seabourn Cruise Line voyage. However, it does not cover airfare, ground transportation, pre- or post-cruise hotel accommodations, onboard purchases, or travel protection.

Are the suite amenities and services on the Escape with Effy Charter Cruise the same as those advertised on Seabourn Cruise Line’s website?

Yes, the standard suite amenities are included as part of the Escape with Effy Charter Cruise.

Can I use my Seabourn Club benefits or earn points for this sailing?

No, as this is a chartered voyage, guests will not receive Seabourn Club benefits, nor will they accrue “Sailed Days,” “Redeemable Sailed Days,” or “Seabourn Club Points” for this trip, as defined in the Seabourn Club Terms and Conditions available at www.seabourn.com.

Paperless documents and online check-in

Is there an easy, online option for check-in?

Yes, Seabourn Cruise Line requires all guests to complete an online check-in for the Escape with Effy Charter Cruise. Approximately four weeks after booking your suite, you will receive a unique booking number. With this number, please log in to the Seabourn website to complete the check-in process. Ensure you have your passport and travel details available, as this information is necessary during check-in. The process is complete when all sections display a green checkmark. Please finalize your online check-in at least 72 hours before departure.

Identification

What type of identification will I need to board the ship?

  • For United States Citizens:

    A valid passport book is required for all travel outside of the United States. Passports must not expire within six months after your travel date to be considered valid. For additional information, visit www.state.gov.

    Note: Passport cards are not accepted for this charter.

  • For Non-United States Citizens:

    You must have a valid passport and any required visas for travel. Check the identification requirements for your specific situation with your local consulate.

    • Non-U.S. citizens who have been admitted to the United States as permanent residents must carry their Permanent Residence Card (Form I-551), commonly known as a Green Card.
    • If you do not possess a Green Card, obtain one from the nearest United States Immigration Service office.

Visa Requirements:

Visa requirements depend on the passport under which you are traveling and the countries being visited. Seabourn partners with CIBTvisas to assist guests with visa requirements and document collection. You may also use your preferred visa service or complete the process independently.

  • When arranging a visa, indicate that you are traveling with Seabourn and by sea, as requirements may differ from those for air travel.
  • Seabourn guests who use CIBTvisas may receive discounts.

Accessibility

I have a walking disability or other special needs. What should I do?

Guests with mobility needs, severe allergies, respiratory needs, or other accessibility requirements must complete the Special Requirements Information Form (SRI) at least 45 days before sailing. For more information and to access the form, click here.

I require a handicap-accessible room. Are any available?

Yes, our vessels have specially designed suites for guests requiring mobility assistance.

  • Standard Suite Limitations:
    • Entry doors and bathroom doors measure approximately 23 inches wide.
    • Bathrooms have doorsills, and bathtubs may be challenging for those with limited mobility.
    • Passageways within the suite may be too narrow for a wheelchair or scooter.
  • Accessible Suite Features:
    • Wider entry doors (minimum of 32 inches).
    • Accessible showers with grab bars, benches/seats, hand-held showerheads, and lowered closet and towel rods.

Note: Mobility devices must be stored and charged within the guest’s suite for safety reasons.

What if I am traveling by myself? Are there single staterooms?

Guests traveling alone are certainly welcome!

Can I get an upgrade?

Yes, upgrades may be available depending on availability. Please contact us at reservations@escapewitheffy.com or call 1-866-211-5573 to inquire.

Where can we smoke on the ship? Can I smoke on my verandah?

For the comfort of all guests, most public areas and all guest suites are smoke-free.

  • Permitted Areas for Smoking Cigarettes, Cigars, and Pipes:
    • The starboard half of the Sky Bar open deck and the starboard half of the Seabourn Square outside deck.
  • E-Cigarettes: Permitted inside guest suites.

Prohibited Areas:

  • Smoking is not allowed inside suites, on verandas, or balconies
  • Water-pipes, glass-pipes, or other smoking devices are not permitted onboard.
  • Smoking is prohibited on open decks during fuel bunkering operations in port.

If in doubt about smoking policies in specific areas, consult the onboard staff.

Violation Penalty: Guests who smoke inside staterooms or on verandas in violation of the policy will incur a $250 cleaning fee per day of violation.
